Hi! My name is Fern Richardson. After promising myself that I would never move back to the county where I grew up, I found myself a newly minted Fullertonian in December of 2009. I guess I should have never said “never,” because I love living here.

About Me:
I grew up in Cypress and moved away to LA to go to college. When I was accepted into Chapman Law School, I knew I had to move south, but I just couldn’t bear to live behind the Orange curtain. For six years Long Beach was my home. I loved Long Beach. I still do. But when time came to move, the place that was the best fit happened to be in Fullerton. So here I am!
When not out discovering my new city, I write about container gardening on apartment balconies or patios at a blog called Life on the Balcony.
